Simon’s naked Transalp

Simon sent me links to photos of his Transalp without its fairing so Alistair could get a look. Initially I thought he removed it because he didn’t like the look of it or for better fuel economy, but the reason is altogether more understandable, he crashed a couple of times and wrecked the fairing and wasn’t willing to fork out for a new set, and I don’t blame him, given the price of such things. Anyway, more pics below the fold.




So there you have it. Not sure what people might think about the aesthetics of it, but this bike stands as testament to the often mentioned bulletproof nature of the Transalp’s v-twin engine.
